Handicap
5 VOICESIndex numbers, before and after.
Handicap at start was 21 and now is 11 as off last Saturday… Shot 78 twice, my low rounds… Thus SP30.
I committed to single plane this year, bought the book, watched the videos and I have dropped my handicap from 4.8 to 2.9 this summer! Lowest in 25 years! You guys rock! I'm 65 so it's never too late to change!
I've been doing the single plane swing for many years and my handicap is 7. This month for the first time I enrolled in the single plane 30. It has been a real eye opener… I believe all of this has cost me 5 strokes a round.
I went to my first SPA in Phoenix back in February. Struggled with my change in my swing. Started the season with a 16 handicap in my men’s league. Then I decided to get properly fitted clubs from Graves golf. I am now a 9-10 handicap in our league. Hitting the ball further, started charting my shots, discovered that I needed to improve my short game and that’s where my confidence has improved. I am still learning, but I feel more comfortable with the swing.
Did the 30 Day SP back in August 2025 and looking at my 18 birdies app, my handicap definitely went down from 9 to 4 … It was totally worth it.
Scores
5 VOICESBroke 80, shot under par, shot under their age.
I started single plane on my own halfway through last summer. Did single plane 30 in march this year. Last year I struggled to shoot under 94 and today I shot 79!!!
Biggest win came today. Played 18 at home course and broke 80 for the first time in my life! Had some mistakes but was able to go back to the system and correct before it ruined the entire round.
Just finished SP30. Broke 80 for the first time today!
Shot my first under par round today. -1, I turned 66 yesterday.
Shot two under my age today!! 38/38: 76
Competition
5 VOICESClub championships, VGA events, longest drive.
Last Sunday in the final round of my club championship, I shot my best ever tournament round of 82! My lifelong dream of breaking 80 is finally within reach thanks to Graves Golf.
Played in my 9 hole league on Thursday. Shot a 39. Graves Golf comes through again. A couple of weeks ago I almost shot my age, 80, I’m 77. Played in a tournament on last Sunday and won Longest Drive in the Senior Division.
at 74 years of age I just won 1st Low Net in our Senior Club Championship shooting 81 Saturday and 77 Sunday as a 9 handicap.
Got my 12th win at VGA at Champions Club in Stewart Fl today with a solid 75 (3 birdies). And I took 2nd last Sunday at the VGA Florida State Championship…
Won my first tournament this past weekend. The Single Plane kept me in the fairway all day. It's a different game from there.
Comeback
5 VOICESQuit the game, hurt their back, came back to it.
I quit playing the game several years back. Sold everything except the driver and putter. Then I started watching Todd's videos on YouTube, which peaked my interest and excitement for the game again. Contacted Graves Golf, got fit for clubs
Yesterday, first time using Single Plane Swing after 11 years not playing, 5-6 fairways when using driver, 1st drive 260 yds! One piece of advice: practice every club not just the ones you use frequently. To answer question, to be a better all around golfer shooting under 90 to start.
Thanks to Todd and Tim for carrying this on so I could find enjoyment in golf again.
I found the Moe swing because I hurt my back with the traditional golf swing. In fact, I now know more about the traditional swing by studying Moe's swing than I ever learned from any other instructor.
My time at the earlier Graves Golf schools and being an Elite Member paid off on a Par 4 today when I earned an Eagle
Distance
5 VOICESYards gained, and held onto with age.
when I hit drives 280 - 290 yds on a consistent basis, it shows me purchasing the SP30 was so worth the money
My swing has improved dramatically; drives were 20-30 yards longer than last year, and so much more confidence over the ball with other clubs.
my longest drive was 273 yards. I've never had a drive longer than 250-ish in the sim… I'm 68 and decent shape for my age and I can testify that the proper golf hardware and 'software' (Graves Golf Training) will add accuracy AND distance to your game.
20 years or so but SP30 is the best and the personal coaching is spot on. Pleased I have not lost much distance from 58 to 78.
Today was my first range session using SP. One word: wow! Higher, straighter, longer.
Schools
5 VOICES3-day, 5-day, Short Game and Scoring Trifecta alumni.
I just got back from one of the most amazing schools that Graves Golf has ever hosted. The April Scoring Trifecta is the school you do not want to miss… I was a 16.9 Handicap, but today my first day back on the Golf Course I shot an 81 +9 over.
Just completed the trifecta 6 days of training with the best golf instructors… Now I have the tools to assess my game and focus on my weaknesses, no more pounding balls at the driving range… If you are truly committed to improving your game then you need to get into this school.
I now feel comfortable on the course. I actually feel that I can execute the shot at hand.
Thanks to the short game alterations I've made since attending the short game school and practicing the sp30, sp 30 range and the driver optimisation course components.
having attended over 5 schools including the Short Game School I doubt Tim would say it's an art but rather along the lines of a simple set of easily learned steps and methods anyone can learn and implement making their game way more enjoyable! I know, I did it!
Fitting
5 VOICESFitted clubs, the Spinner, wedges and putters.
Dropped 5 strokes in 3 days by adding the LNR putter to my bag. Played my local course last Thursday shot 11 over par. Played same course today and shot 6 over.
Moe's Sandy Andy. Really gives me confidence that I will get the ball out of any kind of sand or rough around the green… I get a special feeling knowing I have a duplicate of Moe's wedge.
I was very skeptical about buying new clubs from Graves back in February after my first SPA visit. Finally took the plunge and I wish I would have done it sooner. I can’t imagine being a golfer who doesn’t have properly fitted clubs. The confidence that I have when I step up to the tee box is something that I never had before. To all of you fellow SP players, cheers 🍻
you are going to LOVE your 7W Spinner. I got mine last week and was finally able to hold a green from 150 out. So happy!
Finally got to use these beauties yesterday and they are by far the best wedges I've had and I've had them all!!! Ball flight is amazing and the spin is ridiculous
Coaching
5 VOICESLevel 4 coaching, video review, named coaches.
I went from Level 3 to Level 4 and started exclusively working with Trent White. What a difference. My swing is now more compact, powerful, and consistent with less effort… I'm 69 yrs old and never broke par for 9 holes. . . . until a week ago.
At age 62, my handicap is a 5 (trending down) and round to round variability ranges from par to mid 70s. Best decision I made was making the change to a Single Plane Swing.
Clay Farnsworth reviewed my address and grip. He provided video with audio analysis and instruction in addition to written comments. I am really impressed!
I have been following a process laid out by Ralph Bauer, to calculate breaks relative to slope and distance to the hole. I can say, having a process has made all the difference. I have something on which to focus that gives as much "certainty" as possible, rathering than hitting and hoping. Misses are much closer, and more putts go in.
Level 4 is the best investment I have made in my golf swing. New clubs are great, but the subtle lessons learned being in Level 4 will change everything for the better.
SP30
5 VOICESThe 30-day program, from new graduates to decade-long customers.
I've been a Graves' Golf customer for at least a decade… feel that this was BY FAR the best golf course I've ever taken.
I'm 3 weeks into July SP30… I've seen more success in the past three weeks than I have in 3 years.
Enjoyed the structure of SP30. It provides the step by step to building the swing but as important, the 'instruction manual' to come back to when needed
I am 72 years old and I now understand that I was an inconsistent ARM Swinger in the last 50 years… Thank you for your dedication to golf and offering an opportunity to enjoy golf again!
It's been great 30 days in this program I know I still have alot of work to go but the tools you offer make me have high hope by next spring I will be alot better golfer. My hope is to continue with the program even knowing that winter is coming and I will be using a simulator but will continue. My goal is still to make a live class event to get tweaked in my swing.
Women
5 VOICESWomen of the Academy on scores, schools and equipment.
Shot 85 on The Dye Club in North Myrtle Beach yesterday. Best since I started SP30.
I shot a 44 on the front 9 and that's my best score yet and this is all thanks to the short game videos!
I was struggling with my swing, bad back and arm pain and went on a search for a way to play golf without it causing pain… taking SP30 and a school taught me how to play better and without pain.
Best money I've ever spent on a special kind of club. I'm on the edge of buying another for backup!
I have completed SP30 and attended the five-day golf school in Orlando, both of which have helped my game and given me tools to continue improving. I'm grateful for that progress!
